"Encouraging civic pride and wellbeing in Newton-le-Willows"
Welcome to the official website of the Newton and Earlestown Community group, proud to host Newton-le-Willows Town Show.
Here you can learn about who we are and what we're all about, as well as view photos from past events and discover more local groups that we have worked with or plan to work with on future projects.

This is a scheme we've seen working really well in other parts of the country, and we'd love to get local businesses involved too.
If you work at a local cafe or restaurant, ask if they will put up one of these posters in the window and another inside the shop.
The only cost to the business is a pack of post-it notes!
Download a printable version of the poster here: http://bit.ly/NECG-PIF
Obviously at the moment it's takeaway only, but that's no barrier to giving our friends in need a bit of a leg up.
No questions asked. Nobody left behind.

We'd like to get everyone involved with a fantastic poetry project. Write a poem about a local topic of your choice, and submit it to us online. We will share them around town on social media initially, and when our fantastic local businesses are back up and running we will ask them to display the QR codes so everyone can access the poems all over town.
Thanks for your contributions so far, please keep sending them in!
Thank You to John Donlan at Earlestown Film Studio for producing this video of the event for us!
We put together a regular email newsletter containing information about events & issues affecting Newton-le-Willows. http://tinyurl.com/necg-signup to subscribe. Your information will only be used for the purpose of sending out the newsletter and nothing else.
