FUTURE HERITAGE PROJECTS
We are always looking for new heritage projects. If you have an idea we can explore, please join us at one of our monthly meetings, you'd be most welcome. If you would like to make a donation to any of our future projects, you can do so HERE
NORMAN HARVEY STATUE UNVEILING Newton Heritage Trail & Health WalkTesco Bags of Help AwardOur Year of the Environment programme of events. Bug Hotel building in Remembrace Meadow in Mesnes Park, with local groups of children. Wild flowers. Recycled bug houses to make and take home. Wildflower seed planting, and edible flower planting using recycled egg cartons. Encouraging bio-diversity, encouraging more pollinating insects to our green spaces and gardens.
Community PlantingFollowing a grant win from Lloyds Community Fund, we planted an area of Mesnes Park with a selection of shrubs and plants.

NECG's biggest event of the year, last took place on Saturday 3rd August 2024.
Once again you joined us in your 1000's, for another fun filled day out for all the family. Photos from our 2024 Town Show can be seen in our gallery.
